Why the trial is not free: every step of the trial runs live on your own input and uses real AI computing time. This payment is mainly there to cover those testing costs, which we would otherwise pay ourselves. It is not a profit item.

The £9.99 counts towards a licence if you buy one within 30 days.

Two books that came out of testing

These books were not written as products. They were created as a by-product of testing AI Book Factory: we gave it one set of source notes about caring for a new lawn and let the whole production line run, including translation and cover design. The English edition uses the modern cover, the Czech edition the classic one. Both are free to download.

Is this a subscription?

No. The licence is a one-off payment. AI provider fees for the books you produce are paid separately, according to how much you use.

Why do I pay for the trial?

Because the trial runs the real workflow on your own idea, and each step costs real AI computing time. The £9.99 mainly covers that cost, and it is deducted from the licence price if you buy within 30 days.

When can I buy?

Book Factory is in final testing. Join the list above and we will email you when licences and the trial are available. Nothing is charged before then.

What happens after 31 December 2026?

Orders placed from 1 January 2027 are charged the regular price of £399.

Can I publish books made with Book Factory?

Yes, with a full licence. You remain responsible for checking the content, rights and facts before publishing – Book Factory helps with that, but it does not replace your own review.
