Review your workplace pension in one sitting

Find your workplace pension, check contributions, fund choice, charges and beneficiaries, and decide whether to change anything with confidence.

Estimated time: 45–60 minutesUpdated: 1 October 2026

Use this guide if you have been auto-enrolled into a workplace pension but have never looked at it, or if you have not checked it for a year or more. You need a recent payslip, your pension provider's name (from your payslip or HR) and a login to the provider's website or app.

Step by step

  1. Find and log in to your pension

Your payslip usually shows a pension deduction; the provider's name is often listed there or in your employment paperwork, and HR or payroll can confirm it. Register for the provider's online account and download your latest annual statement. If you have had several jobs, list the providers of past pensions too, so you can see the full picture.
